Start-Up Visa Program
Canada’s Start-up Visa Program aims to attract immigrant entrepreneurs with the skills and potential to establish innovative businesses in Canada (excluding Quebec) that can create jobs for Canadians and compete globally.
Criteria and Requirements for Start-up Visa Program:
1 Have a qualifying business idea
2 Get a letter of support from a designated organization
3 Meet language requirements (CLB 5 in English or NCLC 5 in French)
4 Have enough money to settle and live in Canada
5 Meet medical and security requirements
6 Must have completed at least one year of post-secondary education
7 Plan to live outside Quebec
8 Not be inadmissible to Canada for reasons such as criminality
